Where can you view prizes and purchase tickets?
The Lotus Evora can be viewed at the Prairie Mall. Prizes will also been on display at Windsor Ford, Stojan’s Powersports and Marine, and People’s Automotive.

When do tickets go on sale?
Tickets will go on sale following the launch of the lottery on October 1st and will be sold until 4:30pm the day of the draw Dec 29, 2011

What methods of payment are accepted?
VISA, Mastercard, Cheque or Money Order. Direct Debit and cash will be accepted at ticket selling locations.

What is the mailing address to purchase tickets?

Please allow 3-4 weeks for your official ticket to be mailed.

Is there an age restriction on purchasing tickets?
Yes, ticket purchasers or individual names on tickets must be 18 years of age or older.

If I am not a resident of Alberta can I still purchase a ticket?
Yes, however the sale must take place in the province of Alberta.

Is the ticket tax deductible/ do you get a tax receipt?
No, there is no tax receipt issued as Revenue Canada deems that the purchase of a ticket is not a donation.

Do you have to be in attendance during the draw?
No, the top 20 winners will be contacted by phone following the draw. The remaining winner’s will be contacted by mail.

Are ticket purchasers eligible for all prizes?
Ticket purchasers are eligible for all prizes. By law your ticket must be returned to the draw barrel for any non-identical prize, meaning if the prize changes (Ex: 1st prize is different from 2nd prize) the ticket must be re-entered into the draw barrel.   However, if there are 100 of the same prize, your ticket does not go back in for each of the identical prizes.

Do prizes have to be accepted “as is”?
Yes, prizes must be accepted as awarded. No Cash substitutes allowed.

How many years has the Cars For Christmas Lottery been operating?
The 2011 Lottery will be the 13th annual lottery.  In 12 years the lottery has raised just under 3 million dollars for our local community.

How will the proceeds from Cars for Christmas Lottery be used?
The lottery supports 14 local groups. For more information on what each group will use funds for please visit the proceeds page.
