Yes. Should the ticket be a winner, the prize is then awarded to the corporation or business and the person who claims the prize must be able to prove they are an authorized officer of that company.
Each ticket or ticket in a set must contain the same information. If you wish to split sets of tickets (such as within an office setting) you should devise a document that explains which ticket number belongs to each individual or you may wish to use this Group Purchase Form. Lottery management is not responsible for resolving any disputes which may arise between multiple purchasers.
The Cars for Christmas Mega Lottery will attempt to notify all winners for 3 months from the time of the draw. The winners will be notified by phone and/or email and or mail. The mail will require the signature of the ticket holder as proof of notification. All winners will have 3 months from the draw date to claim their prize. It is the sole responsibility of the winner to claim the prize. If the prize is not claimed within 3 months of the draw date, from the Lottery Office, the Rotary Clubs of Grande Prairie “Swan City” will request the permission of AGLC to donate the prize back to their office and use it for another event. All prizes may be claimed by showing the winning portion of the ticket &/or government issued photo identification.

There are 2,790 tickets at $85 each, 2,240 sets of 3 for $215, 250 sets of 5 for $325 and 500 sets of 15 for $500 18,260 tickets total.
All draws will be open to the public and will be made under the supervision of at least two executive members (or delegates) of the licensed group. Prize draws follow a strict set of procedures, with draw control oversight by Wave Media Inc. and under licensing approval by the licensing body, Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis (AGLC). Each prize draw will be conducted in accordance with the approved Raffle Terms and Conditions as put forth by AGLC. Draws are conducted using a Random Number Generator (RNG) system, certified and approved by AGLC. Winners will be announced at https://www.carsforchristmas.com/. All winning tickets will be eligible for all subsequent draws. There are 11 prizes in total. Ticket buyers are eligible for all draws provided they purchase before any draw deadline. In the case of a power outage the draw will be delayed until power is restored. If not restored within 2 hours, the draw will be rescheduled and advertised to the public and ticket purchasers.

Tickets will be sold and advertised within the Province of Alberta however this does not exclude people coming into the province to purchase tickets. Ticket orders online and via telephone may only be processed for Alberta residents. In the event a winning ticket stub has more than one name on it, the licensed charity shall award the prize to the first name appearing on the ticket. The licensed charity and AGLC are not responsible for any disputes which may arise between the different individuals whose name appear on the ticket.

Gift certificates for retailers involved in draws shall be used for merchandise in their place of business; no cash will be given. All gift certificates are valid for a minimum of one year from date of draw. All prizes, gift cards and gift certificates must be accepted as awarded with no other cash option. GST included in retail value in all prizes.
All prizes are deemed “new” by retailers involved. Prizes shall be accepted “as is”.

In order for a prize to be mailed to a winner, they will first have to provide in person or e-mail a copy of a Prize Release form to the Lottery office. They will be required to sign a release form referring to the points outlined in this document. The Lottery will not solicit sponsors for a replacement prize. In the event of a dispute the terms and conditions of this document will be the governing decision to resolve the issue. The Rotary Club of Grande Prairie “Swan City” accepts no liability associated with any loss or damages to individuals or property in any way associated with any prize.
