2020 Cars for Christmas Mega Lottery

DRAW DATES:

The Bonus Draw will be held on November 12, 2020 at the office of Stride Management Corp. 3950 -12 Street NE, Calgary Alberta. Only tickets received at the Lottery Ticket Sales Centre before 11:00 pm November 1, 2020 will be eligible for this draw.

The Early Bird Draw #1 will be held on December 9, 2020 at the office of Stride Management Corp. 3950 -12 Street NE, Calgary Alberta. Only tickets received at the Lottery Ticket Sales Centre before 11:00 pm November 29th, 2020 will be eligible for this draw.

The Early Bird Draw #2 will be held on December 22, 2020 at the office of Stride Management Corp. 3950 -12 Street NE, Calgary Alberta. Only tickets received at the Lottery Ticket Sales Centre before 11:00pm pm December 13, 2020 will be eligible for this draw.

The drawing of the final prizes will start on January 12, 2021 at 11am at the office of Stride Management Corp. 3950 -12 Street NE, Calgary Alberta. Only tickets received at the Lottery Ticket Sales Centre before the deadline of 11:00pm December 30, 2020 will be eligible for this draw.

All of the above-mentioned draws are open to any member of the general public wishing to attend.




DRAW ORDER:

The first draw will be Bonus Draw followed by Early Bird Prize #1 followed by Early Bird Prize #2, and concluding with the final prizes. Final prizes will be drawn in order of the least retail value up to the greatest retail value. All winning tickets will be eligible for all subsequent draws

Prize draws follow a strict set of procedures, with draw control oversight by Stride Management Corp. and under licensing approval by the licensing body, the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis (AGLC). Each prize draw will be conducted in accordance with the approved Raffle Terms and Conditions as put forth by the AGLC. Draws are conducted using a Random Number Generator (RNG) system, certified and approved by the AGLC.

All winners will be notified in writing by Stride Management Corp. detailing what they have won and where they can claim their prize(s). Also, all names, cities and winning ticket numbers will be published within 14 days following the draw on the lottery website at www.carsforchristmas.com.

Prizes must be accepted as awarded, there will be no cash substitutes. All prizes must be claimed within one year from the final draw date.

Vehicle mileage may include mileage incurred while transporting vehicles from venue to venue for the purpose of ticket sales. All vehicles must be picked up at supplier dealerships, no deliveries will be made.

Prizes do not include Insurance, registration, or installation fees. Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash.

If any prize(s) remains unclaimed for more than one (1) year from the date of the draw, a request will be made to the AGLC for a decision regarding the disbursement of the prizes. The committee reserves the right to substitute any prize with a prize of equal or greater value if the published prize is no longer available upon the approval of the AGLC.

Contest guidelines prohibit the following people from purchasing tickets: the Lottery Manager, the Ticket Auditor, Financial Controller, employees of Stride Management Corp., immediate family of those listed above and anyone under the age of 18. All members of the Swan City Rotary Club are eligible to purchase tickets. The Licensee will advise all purchasers not to include the name of anyone under the age of 18 on the ticket due to the requirements of the Public Trustee Act.

In the event that a winning ticket stub lists more than one name on it, the licensed charity shall award the prize to only one of the individuals identified on the ticket, and the licensed charity and the AGLC are not responsible for any disputes that may arise between the different individuals whose names appear on the ticket stub.

Retail value of the prizes is $411,523.75 (includes GST).




DISTRIBUTION OF TICKETS:

All tickets will be controlled by committee members and are only available by mail, internet, and at the Grande Prairie Mall and other locations identified by the committee as required.

Tickets may be purchased with VISA, MasterCard & bank debit card. The Lottery Committee’s liability is limited to the purchase price of the ticket.

If any purchased ticket has been entered for any draw, no refund will be issued.

Total number of tickets will be 1,000 single tickets at $50 each, 5,000 sets of 3 for $100 & 2,750 sets of 10 for $200 for a grand total of 43,500 tickets.

Only upon demonstrating extraordinary circumstances to the AGLC will the Licensee make a request for a draw date extension.

Christmas Cash Bonus Draw tickets available are; 500 single tickets at $10 each, 3,250 at 3 for $25 and 5,275 at 10 for $50 for a total of 63,000 tickets. There will be a minimum guaranteed payout of $70,000 for the Christmas Cash Bonus Draw or 50% of ticket sales (whichever is greater).

Purchasers are not required to purchase a ticket in the Cars for Christmas Mega Lottery to be eligible to purchase tickets in the Christmas Cash Bonus Draw. However, ticket purchasers who only purchase Christmas Cash Bonus Draw tickets and not the Cars for Christmas Mega Lottery tickets will only be eligible for the Christmas Cash Bonus draw being held on January 12, 2021.
